Voting has begun for those eligible to nominate works for the 2017 Hugo awards. If you already know your favorites in all the categories, great! If, like me, you’ve read far too many works in 2016, then you may need a reminder about which works are eligible for this year’s voting. There are a number of good lists out there, like the Goodreads list, but it is focused only on novels, like most lists. A list with all the categories is the Hugo Nominees 2017 Wikia; this list includes links to the different works. This list also includes my eligible short story: The Road Not Taken.

The deadline for nominations is 17 March 2017 at 11:59 pm Pacific Daylight Time. This gives you plenty of time to get to that title that’s been on your reading list, but has fallen victim to the day-to-day grind. Now you have a reason to get to it before the deadline. It’s also a good time for all those who loved a work this year to post a review and urge others to give it a try before time runs out. Nothing helps an author more than posting a review.
